I have over ten years’ experience working in higher education management, supporting students, researchers and professional staff in their development.

I offer services in a few key areas, ready to be fully tailored to your organisation’s needs.

Student/Graduate Employability Coaching

A lack of clarity, confidence and individualised support are some of the key barriers to students transitioning into graduate level employment. I have worked with numerous students and recent grads on finding their place in industry.

I’ve also worked with targeted cohorts, designing and delivering multiple graduate employability, entrepreneurship, and student experience programmes for UK and international higher education organisations.

PGR/Early Career Researcher Coaching

Coaching directly works on common challenges faced by early stage researchers which can get in the way of producing the highest-impact research outputs, including imposter syndrome, career instability, time management, stress and motivation. Access to coaching sessions can be a huge benefit for researchers as part of a researcher development/accelerator scheme, or PGR student support.

Having held previous roles in research support and managing PGR student progression, I understand many of the challenges faced, and provide the right balance of support and accountability.

Staff coaching

Coaching is widely recognised as an effective tool for staff development, enabling individuals to problem-solve and come up with real and meaningful solutions to challenges in the workplace. Bringing in an independent external coach can ensure these conversations are as open and effective as possible.

As an experienced people manager and project manager across multiple higher education organisations, I have a broad knowledge of the sector-wide priorities and pressures.

Workshop design and facilitation

I have designed and delivered a range of people and organisational development programmes focused on developing collaboration, confidence and high performance for teams and learning groups. Previous content includes:
